on the asian dint there's this site ethnotechno that basically takes you through the last 10 years of what was "asian undergound' in the uk and ended up the 'asian massive' in the us...
god i miss the stuff that came out of Outcaste (UK) and Shakti (RIP). Today's label is six degrees. also, on the more mainstream tip, there's talvin singh and nitin sawhney, both mercury award winners.

the slow but gradual increase in exposure in uk bhangra slowly killed off much of uk asian fusion (another name for it)... but it lives on. theivery corporation also have a lotta asian fusion elements in their music...
